Living in Goa, Sham began his investment journey in 2012 with a simple objective: prepare financially for the milestones he knew lay ahead.
The first priority was his daughter Shrisha's higher education, followed by her marriage and eventually his own retirement and healthcare needs.
At the time, many of these goals felt distant. More than the goals themselves, he wondered whether he would be able to maintain the discipline required to stay invested for them over the years.

In 2016, when the first instalment of Shrisha's education fees became due, Sham was able to redeem investments that had been created specifically for that goal.
Over the following years, those investments continued to support her education journey. In 2019, Shrisha completed her M.E. in Computer Science Engineering (Information Security) from BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.
A few years later came another milestone. In early 2023, Sham was able to fund his daughter's marriage using investments that had been planned for well in advance.
Today, with both goals achieved, he is retired and enjoying a new phase of life with his wife — travelling, exploring new places, and maintaining the retirement corpus he spent years building.
